What an amazing day!
The children did an awesome job with Oh Jonah. I was so proud of each and every one of them.
Rather than write about the service, I am just opening the door for you to write your comments about the day and the adventure that was Oh Jonah.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Steve
I too, am so proud of all the kids! They did an amazing job witha great musical in only ten weeks of rehearsals. They looked liked a million bucks and did a great job of keeping it all together. Big Kudos to Judi, who did a great job at the keyboarrd, Marcia, Candace, Martha and Steve for all their help. How cool to see the church so full and be able to talk with all the parents and family members who were visited. I think the Lord was pleased. As Garrison Keillor says, “nothing you ever do for a child is ever wasted.” I pray that the lessons of obedience and responsibility will be remembered. And that the kids learned that they can offer something wonderful in worship as well.
And what a God Moment to have Jarod and Zack….our other two Jonahs from 1989 and 1999 present. Who but the Lord would know that would be the day when all could be together? It was truly such a special moment!
Great job by the kids!!! The whale was … uhhh … festive. Seemed like a very cheery whale.
I loved the fact that we had to get out the white folding chairs, as the sanctuary chairs were filled to the brim.
Great job by everyone who helped put the musical together. I believe everyone enjoyed it.
Looking forward to this Sunday. I love Christmas!!!
What a great time! I know God was smiling!! And so were we! My 5, count them, 5 nephews and their families came to worship on Sunday!! Thank you, Mike, for having the courage to undertake this, and for allowing me to help! I can hardly wait for our next project!! We can do amazing things for God if we will just be willing to “get out of the Boat”!!
It was awesome to see the sanctuary packed to the gills. no pun intended. It was neat to see our kids use their talents to worship God! What a great day!
